The California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) has once again released an extreme proposal on rooftop solar which would negate a vital purchasing incentive. The proposal would slash by 75% the credit that future solar installers get for putting their extra energy onto the grid. If adopted, this would make solar too expensive for most people, churches, businesses, and schools.
The CPUC is scheduled to vote on December 15. Changes can be made prior to the vote, and Governor Newsom has great influence over this decision. So… join us in sending a clear message to keep solar growing!
