Powering a cleaner, more sustainable future.
Making the shift from fossil fuels to clean electricity is one of the most effective ways to reduce your carbon footprint and create a more sustainable future. Whether it’s upgrading your home or driving an electric vehicle (EV), electrification offers benefits for your wallet, your health, and the planet.

Cut Carbon Emissions
Electricity generated from renewable sources like solar and wind is far cleaner than burning fossil fuels.

Save Money
Electric appliances and EVs are increasingly cost-effective. Lower utility bills, fewer maintenance costs, and state rebates mean significant savings over time.

Improve Air Quality
Electrification reduces harmful pollutants from burning gas and oil, improving indoor air quality at home and reducing smog outdoors.

Gain Energy Resilience
By using renewable energy like rooftop solar to power your appliances and vehicles, you gain greater control over your energy use and costs, making your home more resilient to price fluctuations and outages.
electrify your home
Transforming your home with electric appliances is simpler than ever. Here’s how to get started:
Switch to Electric Heating & Cooling
Replace gas heating & cooling with high-efficiency heat pumps and use significantly less energy.
Upgrade to an electric water heater
Heat pump water heaters are a game-changer, using up to 70% less energy than traditional water heaters.
Cook cleanly with induction stoves
Induction cooktops heat faster and are safer and cleaner than gas stoves, eliminating indoor air pollution caused by burning gas.
Power up with solar
Install solar panels to power your home with renewable energy. Many California households are eligible for rebates or incentives to offset costs.
Charge
smartly
Upgrade to a smart electric panel to manage your appliances and energy usage more efficiently, especially if you have solar panels or an EV charger.
