SLO Climate Coalition’s Green Transportation team advocates for fossil fuel free transportation and the infrastructure to support it. They provide information and resources to help you electrify your transportation and organize Drive Electric events twice a year in San Luis Obispo.

In 2025, National Drive Electric Month runs from Sep 12 to Oct 12. and we have three wonderful events for you!

And a Ride & Drive Event is scheduled for Saturday, September 27 at Madonna Inn, San Luis Obispo.

In April, we organize an EV Expo as part of Drive Electric Earth Month. In 2026, the EV Expo will be part of the SLO EarthFest on Saturday, April 18th from 11am–5pm at Santa Rosa Park, SLO.
You can come check out the vehicles on display, chat with EV owners and even take a test drive!
