Green Transportation is a program of the SLO Climate Coalition. Its purpose is to increase use of electric vehicles and other electric modes of transportation in San Luis Obispo – primarily through education and accessibility. The program sponsors Ride & Share events, webinars, and showcases. It has held local National Drive Electric Week events for the past several years.
This program works to ensure equitable and affordable access to the benefits of clean transportation. It provides information on available incentives for new, used, or leased electric vehicles.
Green Transportation is also working in partnership with the City of SLO to create an Electric Mobility Roadmap to create a fossil fuel-free transportation system.
