Drive Electric Week SLO is part of National Drive Electric Week – “a nationwide celebration to heighten awareness of today’s widespread availability of plug-in vehicles and highlight the benefits of all-electric and plug-in hybrid-electric cars, trucks, motorcycles, bicycles, and more.” There are a series of educational events and opportunities to talk with owners and test drive vehicles.

V2X: EVs Powering the Energy Transition

As a slice of the larger context for our necessary energy transition to renewables, what value will EVs provide? How will EVs benefit the grid, home and Microgrid Community Resilience Hubs for climate change adaptation? This event will be appropriate as an introduction to Vehicle-Grid Integration, but will also cover some advanced topics and will be a helpful background for our September 27 webinar.

Check out a wide variety of electric cars and bikes on display, with several dealer models available for test drives and rides. EV and E-bike owners will be there to offer rides and answer questions about the joys of driving and riding electric. FREE BRUNCH is offered for the first 75 to take a test drive!
