Drive Electric Week SLO is part of National Drive Electric Week – “a nationwide celebration to heighten awareness of today’s widespread availability of plug-in vehicles and highlight the benefits of all-electric and plug-in hybrid-electric cars, trucks, motorcycles, bicycles, and more.” There are a series of educational events and opportunities to talk with owners and test drive vehicles.

V2X: EVs Powering the Energy Transition

As a slice of the larger context for our necessary energy transition to renewables, what value will EVs provide? How will EVs benefit the grid, home and Microgrid Community Resilience Hubs for climate change adaptation? This event will be appropriate as an introduction to Vehicle-Grid Integration, but will also cover some advanced topics and will be a helpful background for our September 27 webinar.
MAXIMIZING EV VALUE

The road ahead for EV batteries as grid storage is under construction. Our webinar panel will tell us how EV makers, charging equipment manufacturers, and electric utilities are working together to open the road to widespread implementation of Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) technologies and their multiple benefits.
