Micro-Community Collaborative (MCC) is a flagship program of the SLO Climate Coalition. It is a grassroots people’s movement that inspires, educates, and empowers local residents. It encourages community collaboration to build a sense of belonging, foster resiliency, protect and conserve the environment. Our mission is to empower the development of resilient and sustainable neighborhoods – one Micro-Community at a time.

The Resilient SLO Challenge is a program developed by the Micro-Community Collaborative. MCC is partnered with Resilient SLO, a web based platform.
We’re doing more than just reducing carbon footprints.

“The MCC founders truly make this program extraordinary! MCC inspired me to take on the Resilient SLO Challenge. By committing to five basic actions, I was able to reduce my household carbon footprint by more than 20% and save $2,000 annually! I am so much more connected to my neighbors, and I am blessed to be part of this community.”
